The Weekend Audiophile LRS Reference Capacitor Upgrade Kit replaces the factory capacitor bank with a carefully engineered network of premium film capacitors while preserving the original crossover topology and voicing. Each crossover utilizes three premium film capacitors per channel connected in parallel to achieve the target capacitance while reducing equivalent series resistance (ESR) and equivalent series inductance (ESL). This approach helps deliver a cleaner signal path and allows the LRS to perform at its full potential.
Every capacitor is individually measured, and each completed left and right capacitor network is matched to within 1% for exceptional channel balance, precise stereo imaging, and a stable, three-dimensional soundstage.
